Not only ecology, but also some names are identical. Secondly, I'd like to add another novel to the similarities list. It goes by the name of "Lethe" and involves neurally connected trees storing the consciousnesses of human beeings. Regarding large humanoid beeings living in a low gravity tree environment, I'd also recommend the "Integral Trees", where humans live on floating islands or floating trees in zero gravity. The setting is typical for Larry Niven - Weird but at the same time not without physical background. Flying hominid hunters from moon. Was it birds that flew to moon with seed hanging & humans inside those seed? It was during the adventures in jungles of Moon that I gave up.Tinkoohttp://variety-sf.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7172359179613729870.post-65266908808688261672010-01-12T15:23:32.547+05:302010-01-12T15:23:32.547+05:30Hmmm I wouldn't agree that Hothouse is a juven...Hmmm I wouldn't agree that Hothouse is a juvennile novel. Its not the easiest book for a child to read. Reminds me, I must re read it this year (I have a new edition of it)LarryShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17723096857163954170noreply@blogger.com
