A group called Writers Against Unoriginality have acquired & actually use a weapon to kill off most humanity at the click of the button, because "Originality is dead. Everything's done. Any time we try to create something new, it's just a variation of someone else's idea. A perversion of something original." Resetting humanity by saving only some babies & a few adults to care for them will hopefully make originally return!
