Fredric Brown's "The Hat Trick" (as by Felix Graham) (short story, free)

Quote from short story titled The Hat Trick by Fredric BrownNot a bad read, except for ending that escaped me. I'm not sure I see what makes it a supposedly famous story.

Story summary.

Four teenagers - 2 boys & 2 girls - are having a little party, with boys showing magic tricks. Girls are appropriately impressed but the other guy must spoil the magician's trick. Until one of them pulls up the really convincing trick...
