This is the second time I've heard of the entity called The Authors Guild. First was some weeks back, in reference to Amazon's text-to-speech feature in Kindle 2 - they successfully forced Amazon to restrict the feature.
But this one is the craziest so called rights holder's assertion I've heard yet. A perfume that is supposed to smell like books - so digital book readers don't miss on nostalgic dead-tree feel. OK - I'll never bother with such a perfume, but a legal objection to such a perfume!!!

Thanks Paul - I see the date on their site now. Missed it because I saw the message referring to it only a few days back, & that message generated a certain amount of discussion at rasfw!
