Arthur C. Clarke's "Quarantine": A humorous post-apocalypse story!
This very tiny & beautiful piece is the only doomsday story I've read that is actually humor.
Robots of alien origin destroy earth to defend themselves because some of the got infected with a virus. Humor is in the specific virus, & how it affects the infected.
Fact sheet.
