David "Ansible" Longford's "best sf" lists

Dave Longford, of well known monthly sf gossip magazine "Ansible", shares several of his best of lists of books - novels & short story collections.

I've read may be a half dozen from various lists. Looks like I don't quite share his tastes, but a lot of these are famous books. And, in fact, he qualifies his listing with "Being hugely influential can sometimes outweigh just being good."
