"European Commission launched an important online project called Europeana." "bringing you digitised books, films, paintings, newspapers, sounds and archives from Europe’s greatest collections".

Europeana website says it will launch today - but there is nothing on site yet. No feed, though they have a newsletter for those willing to provide email address.
