Mumbai terrorist attacks & Frederick Forsyth's "The Dogs of War"

At The Yorkshire Ranter, someone finds Bombay's terrorist attacks last week very similar in planning & execution to Frederick Forsyth's "The Dogs of War". Book has apparently been used in similar attacks elsewhere too. I haven't read this book, though I might now.

I have read The Dogs of War long long ago and if I remember it right, it involved a band of ragtag mercenaries.

Krishnan: Do you find a similarity in approach?

Tinkoo: I read the book long back, don't remember anything now, maybe it is time to reread it.
