Nagesh Upadhyaya's "Siege!" (short story, terrorism, free): Chillingly plausible near future weapons of urban warfare

Gripping story of a plot with a situation that is a much simpler version of Bombay terror attacks last month - terrorists holding hostages. It takes a rather kind view of India's ministers, contrary to evidence; but that's not the main point of the story. Highlight is the chillingly realistic fighting gadgets near end - very plausible without too far fetched technology.

Fact sheet.
