Colm Tóibín's "The Color of Shadows" (novelette, non-genre, free): Description of an old woman's last days

Very moving story of the last couple of years of life of a woman, & her relationship with the nephew she'd raised alone since his childhood.

Caution: Readers from cultures with different old age care expectations will probably find parts of it horrifying. But there is familiar here too. And it's a moving story nevertheless.
