Nebula Awards 2008: Winners announced

Official Nebula site is still showing last year's list, but it's all over web - e.g., at SF Scope.
Update 26 April 2009: Official site now has the list.

Short fiction winners (category links fetch all nominees in category, in order of my preference, along with download links where available):

  1. Short story: Nina Kiriki Hoffman's "Trophy Wives"; download text/MP3; Martin H Greenburg & Kerrie Hughes (Eds)' Fellowship Fantastic, DAW Books, January 2008: Not read.
  2. Novelette: John Kessel's "Pride and Prometheus" (B); download author's collection Baum Plan for Financial Independence and Other Stories that includes this story, or only this story from F&SF site; F&SF, January 2008; mildly science fiction: Pride & Prejudice meets Frankenstein.
  3. Novella: Catherine Asaro's "The Spacetime Pool" (B); download from Analog site, or as an 8-part serial from author's blog (01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, & 08); Analog, March 2008: A young woman's adventures in a violent medieval society.
A funny observation: Novelette & novella winners both happen to be my first choice, from among the only few stories I'd read from their categories! I'd not read the ss winner, but may be now will.
