Tiptree Award 2008 winners

At James Tiptree, Jr Literary Award Council homepage. Note the 2008 award announcement doesn't have its own page, & will likely vanish once something new comes up on their home page! They do have a separate past winners list, however - though it doesn't contain 2008 data yet.

I personally don't track it - it's only books, no individual short fiction pieces. A tie this year between a novel & a short story collection - Patrick Ness' "The Knife of Never Letting Go by" & Nisi Shawl's "Filter House", respectively.

Award description: "an annual literary prize for science fiction or fantasy that expands or explores our understanding of gender."
