Forgot to mention this with Robinson's Mars recommendations list a couple of days back

Ref: Kim Stanley Robinson's recommended Mars fiction.

His own novel Red Mars has been online a couple of months now.

I'd read may be half of it some months back. 7 or 8 novella length chapters, each focused on a certain part of colonizing Mars & with a specific individual from among the 100 odd Mars colonists as rallying point for the activity. First chapter seems to be to link up sequels; story really begins in second chapter. Voyage to Mars, settling down building the town & factories, exploration, etc. Sometimes dry - so probably best read a chapter at a time, & with a gap of a few days between chapters.
