Google getting into ebook retailing by end of the year

Curious tidbit from the article: "Google would probably allow publishers to charge consumers the same price for digital editions as they do for new hardcover versions."

Sound like the thing that made a lot of people angry about recent Hartwell/Cramer's "Year's Best SF 14" release - ebook version costing twice the price of physical paperbacks!!
