James Blish's "How Beautiful With Banners" (short story, sex, free): An animal's primeval urges doom a Titan explorer

Dr Ulla Hillstrøm is out exploring Titan's wilds, away from human base there, in an unusual pressure suite that is actually a living organism she can control as a machine. Only, Titan has its own native animals - "flying cloaks", one of which thinks this terran space suite will make a good mate!

  1. Larry Niven's "Wait It Out": I don't recollect ending of this Blish story very precisely, but I think it involves freezing alive of Ulla. In this Niven story too, we see a human explorer freezing alive - but on Pluto.
