RIP: James P Hogan (27 June 1941 - 12 July 2010)

Of his half dozen odd stories I've personally read, I'll put "Making Light" among the very best of science fiction humor by anyone - hilarious satire on organizational stupidity. Others too are generally quite readable, & a few are online.
