Lou Tabakow's "Faithfully Yours" (short story, space opera, free): An impossible-to-escape-from prison

Mostly a collection of readable but unremarkable vignettes about the places an escaped prisoner stopped by.

I just could not relate the first brief section of this multipart story with rest of it. I was expecting the last section to clear things up, but no luck.

Title refers to an electronic "bloodhound" that can be fed a "pattern" of an individual, & it will chase the individual through all space & eternity! (A more famous example of such hunter is the mechanical hound, modeled after dogs, in Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451" that locates the victim by smell).

Fact sheet.
