Peter Flom on some short fiction of John Varley

At Associated Content.

His special recommendations: "The Persistence of Vision" & "Press Enter []". I've'nt read the former yet, though I've seen it recommended by other sources too.

"about how a person who spends much of his life traveling at nearly the speed of light could develop relationships with people on Earth who age and die" is probably a reference to one of Varley's most famous stories, "The Pusher".
