Comics versions of two very famous stories
QuasarDragon links these two comics versions of Harlan Ellison's '"Repent, Harlequin!" Said the Ticktockman' (download), & Alfred Bester's "Adam & No Eve" (download). I haven't read these graphic versions.
Former features in Contento's "Top 10 Most Reprinted Stories". It is mostly a fun story - a joker is teasing a society so dependent on clock it has forgotten to enjoy life. I think an earlier generation could have better identified with this story. Indian readers might want to compare the sentiment here with a scene from "Lage Raho Munnabhai" - where Vidya Balan is first introduced & gives a little talk on time-driven world; I found this version far easier to identify with.
Later is a dark story - like most Alfred Bester works. And with a cool concept - also like most Bester works.
