Robert Reed's "A Woman's Best Friend" (short story, parallel universe, free): Romance across parallel earths!

Plot idea is the same as 2007 Hugo winner, Tim Pratt's "Impossible Dreams": A man from one earth falls in love with a woman from a parallel earth when the two are brought together by an accident.

Reed's version is far more accessible to international audiences (Pratt's version assumes reader is interested in Hollywood movies.) Also Reed is a better wordsmith - this story has smoother flow.

Read this purely for romantic entertainment; not for new ideas or enlightenment.

Fact sheet.
