Timothy Miller's "Vaccine" (flash fiction, population dystopia, free)

A frightened little girl, in a clinic for vaccination, fools staff into believing she's been already vaccinated, & is let go. It's then that we learn what the vaccination was for...

Note: It would have been a humorous story had it not stirred up chilling memories of similar campaigns in India during Indira Gandhi's notorious Emergency (1975-77).

Timothy Miller also has a distant future story "High School 3000" that is a cut-throat look at High School in the overpopulated future. Spooky.
